JeNai is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health. She graduated from Wilmington University where she received her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Delaware where she majored in Psychology.
JeNai has worked with families individually and in group settings for over 5 years. JeNai is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the office setting, community and in schools. JeNai specializes in several mental health and social issues that impact our community on a daily basis. She is experienced in working with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, aggression, ADD, ADHD, autism, emotional management, relationship issues and major life adjustments.
JeNai uses a person-centered and individualized approach with clients, considering their personal life experiences and personal beliefs. She incorporates cognitive behavioral and solution focused strategies to assist clients in gaining a better understanding of their situation and provide skills to assist them in overcoming obstacles.
Michelle graduated from Wilmington University where she obtained her Master's Degree in Community Counseling. She is a National Board-Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health.
Michelle has diverse clinical experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including K-12, outpatient mental health hospital, private practice, and in the community. She is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidenced-based treatment approach for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidenced-based treatment model that helps youth and their caregivers overcome trauma-related difficulties.
At Aspiring Change, Michelle specializes in working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of behavioral health concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, and trauma. She uses a person-centered approach and is collaborative with each client to meet their therapeutic goals.
